How can I help?

As a Play Therapist - I use toys, games, and expressive art as therapeutic tools to help a child process thoughts, feelings, and stressors. Through play we also work on identifying concrete coping skills that can be used outside of session. Play Therapy is research supported and evidence based. It has been found to reduce behavioral and emotional concerns, increase self-esteem, and improve a child's ability to verbally express their thoughts and feelings.

As a Counselor for Teens & Tweens - I provide a safe, supportive space to process feelings and current stressors through talk-based, expressive arts, and parts-integrated cognitive behavioral interventions. Counseling provides a collaborative space for tweens and teens to make connections between internal thoughts & feelings and how they impact their daily actions and interaction with others. With counseling, teens and tweens will feel more in control of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This in turn helps improve self-esteem, confidence, and relationship with others.

As a Therapist for College Students & Adults - I engage in a collaborative exploration of thoughts, feelings, and stressors. Together we work towards understanding the connection between thoughts, internal feeling states, and their impact on actions and decision making in daily life. Through parts-integrated cognitive behavioral therapy, clients experience an increase in self-contol, confidence and self-esteem, and improved relationships with others .

Through collaborative Parent Consultation Sessions, I spend time individually with you to discuss your concerns, your child’s progress in treatment, and identify ways to support your child while they work towards their goals.
